The Saint Berdoodle
Little to No Shed & No drool!
Saint Berdoodles are the best of both breeds!

They are one of the biggest doodles this wonderful large/giant breed is very intelligent, sheds very little and unlike the saint Bernard does not drool! The range from 70 to 120+ pounds and are very intelligent, loving, eager to please, loyal, naturally alert/protective of family and make wonderful companions, service, therapy dogs. . We have a variety of colorings, markings & coats (wavy, curly). They typically are a healthier breed, and Saint Berdoodles have a longer life expectancy than a purebred Saint Bernard. Saint Berdoodles are usually expected to live 10-13 years.

The Saint Bernard vs. The Saint Berdoodle
Hypoallergenic coat type: The Saint Berdoodles  usually have low to non shedding coat type (like poodles) Saint Berdoodles make a way better choice for  people that suffer pet allergies or are sensitive to dog dander, than a purebred Saint Bernard, which sheds its coat seasonally. Since the saint Bernard only shed seasonally meaning a few times a year and a poodle has the hypoallergenic non-shedding coat this makes a little to no shedding coat type dog known as the saint berdoodle.

Drooling:  The drool! not many people enjoy a giant slobbery giant drooling down the side of their car....well, we do  but for all non drool lovers the Saint Berdoodle does not drool. All our Saint Bernard's are not constant droolers, even though there is no such thing as a dry mouth Saint Bernard ours do not drool coastally like some do. It all depends on the shape of their jowls. Some of our Saint drool almost never but most only drool when excited, drinking water or on a hot summer day. Combining this with a Standard poodle who does not drool gives you a non- drooling or a better term would be " little to no drooling" saint berdoodle, since all dogs drool sometimes like when drinking water.

Health: The Saint berdoodles being a hybrid typically improves their overall health. Every breed as it's cons of possible health issues. The poodle itself having fewer health issues then most breeds helps improve the Saint Berdoodles  health as well as them being a hybrid. The Saint Berdoodle tends to have fewer health issues than the Saint Bernard.

Lifespan: Saint Berdoodles typically have a longer lifespan  than the Saint Bernard. The average lifespan of a saint Bernard is 8 to 10 years, our oldest was 14 sadly only 1 out of 5 saint bernards live past there 10th birthday =(  the average lifespan of a standard poodle is 12.  This gives the Saint Berdoodle a average lifespan of 10 to 13 years.

Intelligence: The Poodle is the second top breed for intelligence. Poodles are eager to please and have a loving personality combing this with the Saint Bernard which are quick learners, loyal, smart, friendly, patient, outgoing; and,is nonetheless among the world’s most famous and beloved breeds.  This makes a  very intelligent, loving, eager to please, loyal, naturally alert/protective of family Saint Berdoodle that makes a wonderful companion, service, therapy dog.

Trainability: Since the Poodle is eager to please and Saint Bernards are quick learners this usually makes the St Berdoodle's a easy training dog. Saint Berdoodles love pleasing their owners.
